What can you do?
Simple lifestyle changes can decrease your risk of developing breast cancer as well as other forms of cancer:
Exercise regularly
Limit alcohol consumption (less than 1 serving/day for women; less than 2 servings/day men)
Achieve and maintain a healthy weight
Limit red and processed meat
Limit "bad" fats (saturated and trans) found in processed foods, fried foods, fatty meats, full-fat dairy
Don't smoke
Breast feed
Limit your exposure to radiation and environmental pollution
Eat a healthy diet consisting of whole grains, healthy fats and lean proteins
